Here are a Few Pictures when Greau attended The Bio - Forum in Sept-iles, November, 2014
This gallery documents the creation of our company GrEAU. By applying Science and Technology we have been able to achieve high yields of vegetation at a low cost. Hydroponics has proven to be a sound business model in Northern communities due to high demand. Although we are doing this on a small scale in La Tabatiere, we think that this idea can be spread to the entire Lower North Shore of Quebec and possibly even more.
In the pictures above you will see the students of Mecatina School, Benjamin Collier, Josh Boland, Brandon Leon and Chloe Anderson. They are accompanied by their Science and Technology teacher Chris Wong.
The hydroponic system that we use at GrEAU is a combination of Deep water culture (DWC or Bubbleponics) and Kratky's non-circulating method. We have also demonstrated that cheap compact fluorescent bulbs (CFL) will support high yield vegetative growth as long as the colour temperature is taken into consideration.
