Hydroponics in the North
This business was started by students in La Tabatiere, a small village in northern Quebec not accessible by road. Our aim is to provide our community with cheap, environmentally friendly and most importantly, fresh produce. As it is an isolated village, produce normally takes weeks to arrive. Not only is the produce old, but it needs to be harvested well before it is ripe. Both of these facts means drastically reduces the nutritional values of the foods we have available to us.
